About the Role:

We are looking for a Bilingual Peer Support Specialist to support the community of those in need of mental health services through Prevail’s proven online system. Prevail provides personalized support to individuals through a combination of peer coaching, online communities, and interactive training. As these individuals are navigating through our digital therapeutic programs, the Peer Support Specialists play a critical role in helping these individuals on their journey – introducing the programs, being a shoulder of support, and teaching principles of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and the application into their daily lives.

Our newest program is targeted towards a bilingual community. Therefore, we are seeking candidates who can speak and write in both the Spanish and English languages. This is a part time role and will primarily be nights and weekends.

Job Functions:

  • Engaging others in online instant message chats to meet program retention and adherence goals, motivate participants and helping to improve their well-being
  • Building on the reputation of Prevail as a leading source for delivering mental health support and strengthening the Community
  • Key tasks will include using the Prevail platform to actively support Prevail users via Prevail’s web and mobile applications, highlight the Prevail brand, improve program experience for users

Requirements:

  • Be passionate about helping those in need
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Availability to work 10-20 hours per week on a set schedule
  • Availability of working evenings and weekends
  • Must be reliable and able to effectively work independently
  • Must have a computer or laptop with a dependable internet connection
  • Must be tech and computer savvy to use our web platform and assist users with site functionality
  • Must have experience in peer support, Psychology, Social Work, or other related fields
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or Social Work
